Who We Are

NY Dems Voter Protection and the New York Democratic Lawyers Council (NYDLC) represents a broad coalition of Democratic attorneys, students, organizers, and everyday advocates. We work year-round to ensure every eligible New Yorker can register to vote with ease, vote by mail or in-person without barriers or intimidation, and trust their ballot is counted accurately in transparent and reliable voting systems.

Our dedicated volunteers bring a wide range of skills and talent to this vital work. Some answer hotline calls or monitor and assist voters at the polls. Others offer legal support, lead trainings, or show up in their communities to educate, advocate, and inspire.

No matter the role, we’re united by a shared mission to build a stronger, more inclusive, and accessible democracy in New York.
